Bloom...

As I stepped outside my front door this morning I saw a reminder... "Bloom where your planted" (and stop pulling up the roots to check how your doing)!

Blooming...

"Bloom Where Your Planted"

I've been inspired by natural a lot lately and today as I was bending down to observe a small creek, I was reminded of "bloom where your planted."  I saw random plants growing in the most unusual places and water finding a way to keep going despite the obstacles in its way. But it was all so beautiful and I thought, "my life is not all that I would like it to be, but I'm still growing ( blooming) and finding a way, despite what I see as obstacles in my life."

A single seed...

A single idea like a single seed, needs to be planted and fertilized. You water it, keep the weeds out and with patience you will have a harvest. But big ideas, like big gardens need help to keep up. I had a friend today help me spread my single idea around and she shared with me her idea. In time, with each others help, these seeds will produce a beautiful bounty to share with others. 

Growth...

The greatest gift you can ever give another person is your own happiness!

When I saw this photo it made me think about when a seed is planted, you never know if it will germanate and become something magnicent or not. But you do it anyway! As I am continue to work on "being kind" to myself, I'm hoping that the seed I'm planting will grow and provide a stronger foundation of strength and love for myself. I'm finding the more present I am in the moment the easier it is to pause, take a breath and remember ~ to love myself ~ unconditonally...

Yes...Just for me!

These are some spontaneous flowers that came up in my garden this year. I planted them last year and when they died the seeds scattered themselves and waited in surprise for spring. I have enjoyed them and the hummingbirds have too. I love having fresh flowers to bring in the house. I have been cutting them and placing them on my stove. They bring a smile to my face every time I cook a meal. And no one bought them for to me, for a special occasion, they are "JUST FOR ME", just because!
