Today...

Today I was fine until I saw a picture my niece posted of her being at the lake for the 4th of July. This overwhelming heavy sadness came over me. I missed a sense of family and extended family that use to be a group of friends that I don't get to see very much anymore. I felt such a great loss of connection and just felt kind of alone today even though I was surrounded by the world and my children ~

Driver...

I got away for a short time to my sisters, so most of the cousins could participate in "The Color Run" http://thecolorrun.com/ together. But the best part for me, was that my niece came by and drove my daughter and I to her mom's house. Driving is one, if not my least favorite thing to do. So it was really a nice treat to be a passenger and enjoy the scenery, read or do whatever I wanted. I always said if I won the lottery, the first thing I would do is hire a permeant driver to drive me any and everywhere.

Happy...

Thought I would borrow (again) another idea from my beautiful niece. On her blog today she just had the word happy and a list of what made her happy. I like the word "happy". It seems to say so much with only five letters. Here is my list of what makes me happy today...
