Food...

I LOVE food, I really do! I love to eat it, taste it, smell it, cook it, shop for it, look at it, read about it, talk about it and share it. The other day my daughter just wanted to get out of the house so we went to a the store to return something and ended up wandering in the food isles for two hours! It was a store I don't shop at much so it was fun to see the new things or just items I didn't realize they had.

Moccasins...

Another memory emerges... Today I say a young girl ( young being 18-20 ish) wearing moccasins while she was working at the store. I told her I loved her shoes and that I use to wear them myself when I was her age. I LOVED them and I was wondering what happened to them, but I think I wore them out. I miss wearing them, and I'm not sure why but I felt some connection with them on.

Shirt Tag...

Apparently my shirt tag was hanging out today at the store and a kind lady walked up to me and tucked it in. I just found that very personable and special. She didn't think, oh maybe I should just tell her or say it to me before she tucked it in. NO- she just came over and tucked it in. I told her how much I appreciated that and said thank you. Then we both went about our day...

Just goes to show you, you never know when a small act of kindness will brighten someone's day!

Confidence...

A friend of mine told me once I just needed more "confidence." If only I could go to the store and buy some, but since that is not an option I will have to find it somewhere "within." I know that's where my "comparing" comes from and my avoiding working on my business.  There is no magic answer other then just - as the saying goes... "Just do it" and the confidence will follow! Sounds simple doesn't it?
