Like an old friend...

I've had this blog for about 7 years, and it feels like an old friend. I've used it to muse my thoughts, to cheer myself on, and to share as a cooperative blog. My life is "floating" between seasons right now ( this is the reference where " floating between seasons comes from -  http://robbell.podbean.com/e/episode-115-seasons/   and I felt the calling to write again. So welcome old friend, I am ready to catch up and share.

Dark...

It's that time of year again... when darkness arrives sooner then I had hoped. With each passing year I've come to embrace all the seasons. They each have there own uniqueness to appreciate, but it takes me longer in the winter to adjust to the early, dark evening sky. My body just wants to stop all activities and snuggle up somewhere comfy. I am still learning from the absence of light when winter introduces herself once again.

Change in Seasons...

Winter is now Spring and with that comes, opening my windows. I love the cool breeze, the sounds of nature and the sun's warmth all flowing through my window. Each season brings change and as I've gotten older I've come to embrace and flow with what is offered. I can appreciate the difference and beauty and find something to be grateful for. Welcome Spring...

Time Change...

It's that time again ~ seasons change ~ darkness arrives sooner then before.
I've been through 52 years of season changes, and it still takes me awhile to adjust.
The darkness use to be something I dreaded, but now I look forward to the barren tree's and the chance to do some internal and external hibernation.
