Spontaneous...

As a person who is an awesome planner, and likes to prepare for things, I find it can be a disruption sometimes when spontaneity knocks on my door. But instead of thinking what a bad person I am because I struggled with a spontaneous moment, I can look at it as something I need to work on more and even incorporate more into my life. I will have to ponder that and figure out how to not "plan" my next spontaneous present moment!!

Organized...

The past four days have been like a marathon, and it got me to thinking... boy I'm glad I'm such an organized person. I don't even want to think about what they would have been like without some planning of meals, fitting things into a tight schedule, keeping on target to make everything run smooth. Whew... tired just thinking about all that fit into those few days.  So as handy as being organized can be, I also know it has kept me from being more spontaneous and free in the present moment. Something to work on in the new year.

Spontaneous...

Last week I had a very nice spontaneous moment. As I'm trying to allow more "unknown" to enter in my life, I felt the universe gave me a sign to trust that allowing. Thank you...

Leaning...

The past few days I've had a lot of practice "leaning in to my uncomfortableness." From packages that aren't arriving and I need the product sooner then later, people not saying when their coming or delivering what they said they would, or someone for months inattentive to the project that we have continually worked on. But the uncomfortableness is "my need" to know things in advance. I'm a person who likes predicability, and I like to schedule thing ahead of time so I know what to expect. Then there is the other part of me that wants to be free to be more spontaneous and less predicable. Others are my mirror to what I need to see. They are free to be who they are and it's my uncomfortableness that I need to look at an work on. Because then I can see the other people in a different light.
