The Wishies...
As I was out quieting my mind this morning, I noticed the dandelion seeds, which I have always called "wishies" and are definitely on my favorite things list, floating across the sky and how they will land somewhere and something will grow. It got me to thinking about how when I put my loving thoughts out into the universe you never know what good or loving things will grow from them. And even when I extend those same thoughts for myself how much better I flourish and feel about each present moment I am in. So today I send the seeds of, PEACE, LOVE and JOY to grow and spread upon all those in need. Take what you like and spread the rest!

Need...
I was in need of some nice words today... and for me there is nothing better then a quote...or two!
"Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it."
"She took the leap and built her wings on the way down."
" Be kind to everything that lives."
" If you're making mistakes, it means you're out there doing something."
" Just because something ends doesn't mean it never should've been. Remember, you lived, you learned, you grew and you moved on."
" You can never make to much Happy."
" When you stop believing in Santa... you get underwear."
" Your cells contain the universe."
" The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind."
" Don't shine so others can see you. Shine so that, through you, others can see."
" Broken crayons still color."
" We met for a reason, either you're a blessing or a lesson."
" It you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place."

Drummer...
"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away."
Henry David Thoreau
I am trying to change my internal dialogue about myself. I've felt like a "misfit" my whole life. I always felt my thinking was different then those surrounding me growing up and through most of my adult hood. And with that, I took on the message, "something is wrong with me", " I can't seem to see what they see. So my challenge is now to reprogram that voice in my head and figure out how to best serve myself and the universe, with the way I see each present moment.

Peace...
"Do you want to be right or do you want peace?"
Yesterday was one of those days... do I want to be right or do I want peace? In the end when it's all said and done I may end up with both but I'm almost at the finish line and I'm not willing to sacrifice mine and my children's peace of mind to win. I know that "it's" not all up to me. The universe will offer me things I never dreamed possible. I want to be open and receptive...

Bigger...
"Anything that looks like chaos and calamity in your life is just he Universe's way of saying, Trust me and we'll make a life together that is beyond your wildest dreams. The key is to trust. There's a bigger vision and purpose inside you that your small brain or Ego can imagine. The Universe has bigger and better plans for you. It's job to be of service and not get in your own way. You can only receive what you believe. When you trust you open yourself up to greater possibilities outside of your control or imagination. So what's it gunna be? Fear or Trust?
Anon
This will be my mantra today... TRUST. It's a moment by moment struggle, and with each present moment I do the best that I can and remember to keep picking up TRUST every time I drop it.

Encouraging...
There are times when others words say just what I need. Here are some encouraging words that helped me today...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"It was all a matter of consciously applying my focus. Grievances came from looking backward. But miracles come from focusing on the life in front of me, and the power of the current."
" It doesn't matter how many situations you've blown or missed or turned into nightmares. We live in an abundant universe. It's always waiting to help you turn your life around."
"It takes wild courage to start again. It takes power to drop the past and give everything to our current lives."
" Let go of what didn't happen this year the way you thought it should. The Universe is always giving. There's so much love coming down the pike. There are ideas, shifts, and opportunities flying your way. There are so many chances to begin again and again and it's always the perfect time and you've never missed out. It's all here for you. Only we limit what we allow ourselves to receive."
Spontaneous...
Last week I had a very nice spontaneous moment. As I'm trying to allow more "unknown" to enter in my life, I felt the universe gave me a sign to trust that allowing. Thank you...
Baby Goose...
Near my house is a pond that sits to close to the road. As I was headed down the highway this morning, most of a flock of geese had crossed the ramp except one baby goose and its parent. The adult goose was screaming and flapping it's wings because one of the babies had been hit by a car. I had to stop! I got out and picked up the limp body and placed it ever so gently out of harms way and hoped that mom or daddy goose would find some comfort in the rescue. I don't think the little one will make it but at least they can grieve in safety. I just cried feeling so helpless to do anything else for the wee one. But I have to believe the Universe will provide what the geese need and the rest will remain safe.
Living on the Edge...
I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things that you can't see from the center.
Kurt Vonnegut
Living on the edge is not something that is even remotely within my comfort zone, but I would like it to be a more comfortable feeling ( be careful what you wish for ) . I just love that quote because it is so true - you can see so much more when your not standing safely in the center. If I had to pick one thing I would call "living on the edge" for me, it would be driving. Every time I drive it's a challenge, but it has allowed me to see so much more then staying closed inside and not venturing out. And just "trusting the universe" is pretty close to the edge for me too. I am someone who likes to have things organized and scheduled - I like knowing! So the quote is a good reminder that clinging to close to "safe" leaves no room to see all the beauty that the world has to offer and all that I am capable of offering to the world.
Allowing...
When giving up resistance and letting go, I am left in the state of allowing. Allowing only good thoughts to roam free in my head, allowing only positive thoughts about others to surface. Allowing, opens up space for all good things to flow when I step aside and stop thinking it's all about me. Then comes expectance. Expecting the miracles that only the universe can pull off. Expecting love and joy and peace on earth. Then acceptance, that I am all I need to be. I am whole and beautiful, as we all are. I don't need to impress or try harder. I just need to be me, and KNOW that is enough.
So here I am world... JUST ME
November...
I started the month of October as my "no worries" time. I have decided to have November as my "be grateful and no analyzing my feelings month". I want the days to just swim in gratitude and offer them no resistance to anything that I am feeling. To just let "it all be". To live each and every moment carefree, living in expectancy and joy as the universe figures out the end result. It feels good to LET GO and rest with childlike anticipation, as I become more and more use to the everyday miracles. I am overflowing with GRATITUDE.
