Chopping, Mixing, and Baking...

It is the day before Thanksgiving and I've been in the kitchen with all but two of my nieces and nephews. We are all talking, laughing, chopping, mixing and baking and I couldn't think of a better way to spend a day full of gratitude! Looking forward to the end of the day when all the family will be together, a roaring fire will be made and the love will flow all around.

Packed Full...

In my life there are people who have giving me gifts that a simple "thank you" doesn't seem to be enough. But my hope is that when they hear these words, they will know, they're "packed full" of : gratitude, love, appreciation and more thankfulness then they will ever know.
Two simple words that mean so much ~ THANK YOU!

The lives we're in...

"Waiting for something to change puts all the power and possibility beyond our control.  But we, the consciously alive, creative, and visionary, don't wait for circumstances to change us. We change circumstances. We do it by embracing and igniting the lives we're in."
Words from: Inspired & Unstoppable

This is what I try to do everyday ~ Embrace the life I'm in right now! As I take steps towards tomorrow I keep myself grounded in the gratitude of today. For today is all I'm guaranteed. I like the word "igniting" as it pertains to my life, it sounds positive and exciting.  My circumstances are changed one step at a time, one grateful moment at a time.

Starting Over...

Today I woke up and knew I was feeling a bit off, but I thought I would go run a couple of errands anyway. After attempting to accomplish those things, I realize I had not brought with me what I needed to carry out the errands. So I decided to be kind and not beat myself up for what felt like wasted time and to just go home and "start over". And to see it through the eyes of gratitude would be to say, it wasn't far from home so I really didn't lose that much other then a little effort to get ready.  My list of "to do's" is long so I will just pick another item to accomplish and walk away in peace knowing I was kind to myself today ~ and that's a GOOD thing!

November...

I started the month of October as my "no worries" time. I have decided to have November as my "be grateful and no analyzing my feelings month". I want the days to just swim in gratitude and offer them no resistance to anything that I am feeling. To just let "it all be". To live each and every moment carefree, living in expectancy and joy as the universe figures out the end result. It feels good to LET GO and rest with childlike anticipation, as I become more and more use to the everyday miracles. I am overflowing with GRATITUDE.

A welcoming breeze......

I am beginning to feel a "welcoming breeze" flowing across my life. A time to step back and be present. A time to allow good things to come, and embrace the gifts.

A beautiful friend gave my son a computer, a man knocked on my door and I will soon have a free roof and I wait in gratitude as the universe brings my hearts desire. I don't know where they come from and it is not for me to wonder - only to sit in expectancy with a thankful heart. I believe in the circle of life, and we are all connected. I love giving! Recently I gave time to my son David. We came up with a new and exciting lunch he had never tried before ( our own chicken patty sandwich -YUM), I took a ready made dinner to a friend and just yesterday I offered a cough drop to a stranger that didn't seem to be able to stop coughing.
It's like when you go to the ocean and walk down to the waters edge, close your eyes and the gentle breeze caresses you. You can't help but smile...........

Loved!?

When Princess Diana died "they" said she never realized the magnitude of how much she was admired and loved.
In this present moment, I can see and feel the embodiment of love for myself and my children. I need to take a step back and allow it to flow, to bow in humble apprecitation and stand in "awe" of its presents. It is all around me, in each moment of my day. Gratitude over flows. My hope is that others can feel the vibration of MY love.

An Attitude of Gratitude

"They" say.... A miracle is only a shift in perspective. Today I am choosing to shift my thoughts to gratitude.

I am grateful for:

Myself- learning to love myself and celebrating being me
My children- may their gifts add light and love to the world
My home- a safe and loving place to be
My friends and family- their acceptance and joy is the food that sustains me
Our cats- it's a love that keeps on giving
Sunshine, good food, a car, random kindness, peace, a good nights sleep, and HOPE!

EXPECTING MIRACLES.........
