A Bird...

"A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because her trust is not in the branch, but on her own wings."

I have posted this quote before but it was a good reminder for me today to remember my strength is not dependent on the branch I am sitting on or what will happen to that branch. My strength lies internally and when I trust in that "knowing" no matter what happens or where I am my strength does not faultier.

Roots and Wings...

"There are two gifts we should give our children; 

one is roots, and the other is wings"

Being a mother has ALWAYS been the only thing I wanted in my life ( will... except for a loving husband to go along with that), and my hope is that I have provided them with roots and wings with which to fly. My oldest son has flown away, but not far. He has roots here and his wings are strong. He has landed just fine and is doing well. My other two children may not have physically left the nest but they are flying in different ways that is so beautiful to watch.

Trust...

 A life long challenge...~

With each new experience I believe a little more, and after awhile, all the little experiences that offer an opportunity to "believe" add up, and I can believe more and more in myself! I can fear a little less that the branch may break from under me because...

I trust in my own wings~ 

Brave...

And so it is... with brave wings I can fly. I can allow my life to soar above anything I could ever imagine myself. And land in a place of beauty and abundance. Because...
