I came across this information at my local library. There was a book called "The Gentle Barn Story" and I looked up their website. I love passing on organizations, stories etc. that offer something good in the world. Even though this is far from me ( California) it's note worthy. So look them up and if nothing else honor another's offering of "good" put out into the world.

Body...
I was thinking today as I did my regular yoga routine, how our bodies are run like a well oiled machine when taken care of. And I thought of yoga like the oil keeping my bones and joints moving ( kind of like the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz) and my thriving to eat healthy as the fuel in my tank that keeps me going strong. But for me it all stems for an every growing "self love"~ that is an ongoing process. Are there days when I wonder if I even ate a fruit or vegetable all day ~ absolutely, are there days when doing yoga and being still and meditating seem like it's to much work and it's easier to just skip it ~ absolutely! But my awareness of self care/self love brings me "back to center" and I start over again because I feel worthy...

Tell Yourself...
Everything will work out.
Things will get better.
You are important.
You are worthy of great things.
You are lovable.
The time is now.
This too, shall pass.
You can be who you really are.
The best is yet to come.
You are strong.
You can do this.
We believe what we tell ourselves.

Bad vs Good
Why does it seem the good habits are harder to create and stick with then the bad? You think your brain would say - oooohhh this is nice, this feels good, keep doing it. But in pondering this question I realize it is my misplaced self esteem and wrong thinking that out weights feeling good. To feel good you have to give yourself permission, to allow it to continue and thrive. It is an automatic reflex to deny myself, to give up, give in, to put off until, to sacrifice, to never believe good things can happen for me. Those voices scream loud! But I can stop them, I can scream over them. I can yell, its not true, I don't believe you, I am worth all the good the universe has to offer. Only if I am present and aware. Drifting off into "if only", "it will never happen", "oh I wish, I wish" leaves you full of lack and regrets, and drowning in self pity. When the shadows of self doubt cast over you reach for the light. Reach until you feel the grace and goodness that is granted all of us. Today I scream - I AM WORTHY, I AM LOVED, I AM ME.......... let the good begin!
