New Growth

 

When out for a walk the other day, I noticed "new growth" sprouted up all around. It got me to thinking (as nature often does) that, that's what new growth looks like on us. Beautiful, fresh, inspiring, and hopeful. Each present moment is a chance for new growth, new hope, new inspiration and to be beautiful. 

Bravery...

I'm grateful today to be available and present for my daughter as she achieves another mile stone in her life. She has had obstacles as we all do to work through, and her bravery is inspiring. You GO GIRL!!!

I hope that the life I live will inspire those who see it, and long after I'm gone people will remember the courage, the strength and the love that I work on in my daily life. I'm just trying to be "me", with all its mishaps and triumphs, and let that be good enough.

Road Trippin'...

Today my daughter and I decided to spend the day driving to Kernersville to visit the mobile http://www.sketchbookproject.com/where. It was so much fun! We both participated in the sketchbook project this past year and it was inspiring to see other peoples creative ideas from all over the globe. Plus it was surrounded by the beautiful Botanical Gardens http://www.cienerbotanicalgarden.org . All in all it was an awesome day.
