New Growth

When out for a walk the other day, I noticed "new growth" sprouted up all around. It got me to thinking (as nature often does) that, that's what new growth looks like on us. Beautiful, fresh, inspiring, and hopeful. Each present moment is a chance for new growth, new hope, new inspiration and to be beautiful.

Park...

A nice day outside plus time plus my daughter up earlier than expected equals a walk in a new park. We decided to find something that wasn't too far from home but we wanted to find somewhere new to explore. We found a park that didn't have a lot of wooded trails but it did have a really nice open trail that my daughter felt more comfortable to go jogging on some time. Then it was time to head home to make breakfast for dinner... Yummy!

Walk...

"In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
John Muir

Understand...

"Before we can truly understand anther person, we must walk a mile in their moccasins. Before we can walk in another persons moccasins, we must first take off our own."
Native American saying...

There are so many situations people are in that I have never experienced and each person has their own reaction to those experiences that may not have been mine. But this quote helps me remember I don't walk in their life, and it's not up to me to judge only to find and offer compassion as a human being that walks upon this planet as I do.

Walk...

Everyday I'm interacting with mother nature while walking other peoples dogs. This gives me lots of opportunities to observe and bath in her beauty. The other day I posted about the Mimosa tree and now another awesome tree is in bloom ~ the Crape Myrtle. With its beautiful cluster of flowers, and when they start to drop off, leave behind this blanket of confetti that covers the ground. Just so pretty...
