Park...
A nice day outside plus time plus my daughter up earlier than expected equals a walk in a new park. We decided to find something that wasn't too far from home but we wanted to find somewhere new to explore. We found a park that didn't have a lot of wooded trails but it did have a really nice open trail that my daughter felt more comfortable to go jogging on some time. Then it was time to head home to make breakfast for dinner... Yummy!

Naked...
I've been observing winters naked trees and thinking about how they resemble being vulnerable. You can see clearly all that's inside. All the things that have been broken and all the things that hold your strength. There is no where to hide, your leaves have fallen off and your exposed. I want to find that comfortable, safe place within, to allow myself to be that vulnerable. To expose myself to the world by just being me. To know that is enough and when the spring arrives, I will sprout new growth

If money were no object...
"If money were no object what would you do and what would you have done?"
Here is the link to my friends cooperative blogging post on this subject:
I think money is a fascinating subject. Everyone reacts and values money so differently. For me money has never been a big motivator in my life. I didn't have much money growing up and don't remember feeling deprived but I know it has become more of a comfortable place then having money. And in having more money, I find myself intimidated by "more." I've always wanted to learn about investing etc. just to feel more knowledgeable and comfortable with having "more" money and knowing what are the best ways to allow it to flow more freely. A friend told me once that money was meant to be enjoyed and shared. I'm very good with the money I have and I'm working on reprograming my thoughts - "I will know what to do with extra as it comes flowing in."
If money were no object... I would pay off my house to secure it for my children. I would purchase a "tiny house" that had enough room for company and/or my children. I would allow money to give me "time" to slow down and stop "doing" for awhile.
What would I have done? I would have saved more and not given it to another, who just squandered it away. But as all things in the past, I can't change it, so I forgive myself for what I felt I could have done and move on. Money "they" say is just energy... allowing it to flow in and out!

Change...
"Don't be afraid to change. You may lose something good, but you may gain something better."
It's easy to stay comfortable. I have a friend who says her daughter sees life as " all change is bad" and sometimes for me it feels that way. It's a risk that if I allow myself to be bigger and different then I've ever know I may just surprise myself.

Comfort Zone...
"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone."
I've heard this quote so many times, but for me it pays to repeat it over and over again! I want SO much to get further in my life and venture out, but I know staying comfortable is not going to make that happen. What it comes down to for me to live in that space is...
TRUST
SURRENDER
ALLOW
