Discovery...

My situation at home hasn't changed but when I can see it with new eyes it changes. But for me that is one present moment at a time. I get caught up in emotions and defining those from past experiences. But I can choose to start over and see with new eyes in this present moment I'm in.

My Six Senses...

I saw a post on someone's blog the other day about their five senses, so I thought it would be an interesting idea to write mine down today and add in the sixth.

Tasting: crunchy granola, beans and rice, toast with peanut butter. water with lemon, bean soup

Hearing: birds singing, tv, roaring cars, children's laughter, clanging dishes

Seeing: grocery store, cars, computers, my backyard, my home, 

Smelling: beans cooking, burritos baking, fresh laundry

Knowing: All is well and I am safe, I am loved
