Sometimes...

Sometimes life hands you a situation and you are left to wrestle with your emotions. That is what I have done all afternoon. I think I have come to a peaceful conclusion that my heart can live with. Life is constantly asking us to dig a little deeper and find that place within, that may not be perfect but offers our soul a safe resting place.

Destination...

"I'll look back on this and smile because it was LIFE and I decided to live it."

I find it so easy sometimes to feel regret and "wish if only" about my life. But if I choose not to pick those thoughts up, then I can just look back and smile. This is my life and I am deciding to LIVE it... It's the journey not the destination!

"Today me will live in the moment unless it's unpleasant in which case me will eat a cookie."

"Live everyday with intention"

I'm not sure I live with intention everyday. I think I forget about the present moment I'm in, and get lost in life. Maybe setting an intention each morning would help bring the awareness to my day.

To live by...

No matter how long we have traveled on the wrong road, we can always turn around.

This saying was on the "Positively Positive" Facebook page and it's nice because it always gives me something positive to focus on everyday. I liked what it says - "that we can always turn around", and even if that is only in our thoughts It reminds me I always have a choice.
