Pumpkins...

The other day I went to Trader Joe's and they had this sign outside and I couldn't resist taking a picture. The sign pretty much sums up the fall season for me... Pumpkin everything!! I love pumpkins, the color, the taste, the happy memories they remind me of and most of all - their a sign it's fall.

Outside...

This is my view when I decided to take my yoga practice outside today. The only think missing is the sound track... birds chirping, the wind fluttering the leaves, cicadas singing and the sound of the morning silence. It was just so beautiful out I couldn't resist!

Money...

As I'm allowing more "flow" in my life, I am challenged by having to spend a very large amount to fix my brakes that I didn't have. But I am trying not to freak out and am grateful that I had a credit card to put it on. I've been working on reprograming my thoughts concerning money and to allow it to flow freely in and out. Out is a lot harder to allow but it had to be done, so I can not resist and accept what is or I can panic, and I don't want to do that anymore ( or at least not as much). I did also think that whatever financial obstacle that I have, at least I'm in charge. Years ago in my marriage money was such an "out of my control thing" that I am grateful that I know where ever penny is spent and what values I choose to spend it on.

Doubt...

I'm having one of those day's where someone said some sideways remarks yesterday to me and today I woke up doubting everything I believe. I'm learning quicker and quicker not to resist and allow the uncomfortable place to be there. Then I hang on to the saying " This to shall pass" and it does leave me much faster when I can let it flow through instead of damning it up.

Dare...

"Resist the temptation to allow the past to shape or foreshadow the potential of the present. Dare to not know. Dare to show up."
" You have never been in this moment before. It's a wild arrogance to assume a static world. And when you enter this moment with excitement and love, you change the possibility of every possibility."
Tama Kieves

I am in a place in my life, in moments that I've never been before. I'm trying hard to not allow the past to shape my present moments. My dear friends are walking me through this unknown and helping me enter it with excitement and love. But it's up to me, to DARE to not know, to DARE to show up.

Progress...

"Because we do not know what is going to happen next, if we choose to prevent or resist the present moment, we may actually be interrupting a miracle in progress."

I'm trying to allow the present moment I'm in to flow freely and not resist it's progress. There are bigger and better plans for me and my family and my job is to keep moving through with as much grace and love as I can. My heart is still grieving but as I put my trust in the process of life, I can watch the miracle unfold before my very eyes.

Resist...

I'm trying to quiet my mind today because it feels like it's going in a thousand different directions. I have so many things I'm trying to keep track of, big decisions to make, and "to do's" to accomplish. All I really want to do today is forget them all and just go away where there is no pressure other people to consider and just relax. But since that is not possible at this present moment, I will go with the flow and not resist... because what I resist ~ persists!

Present Moment...

Whatever that present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it. Make it your friend and ally, not your enemy. This will miraculously transform your whole life.
Eckhart Tolle

This quote is a good reminder for me to not "resist" and to let life happen. I always need another reminder to be present and allow. I get caught up in all the "stuff" and find myself swimming up stream. When I let go I can float down easily.
