Swing...

Today as I was out walking a dog, we came across a swing hanging from a tree. I had to smile thinking of all the love, laughter and joy that must be hanging around it. A swing just offers an invitation for FUN. I still enjoy a good swing to swing on ~ it feels so carefree!

Seeds...

I came across this plant today growing in a field and it got me to thinking. A bird probable dropped a seed and an unusual plant grew in an unusual place. So I thought when we as people plant seeds of hope, love, kindness, generosity, or peace out in our world... you never know what or where something may grow from that seed.

Fine Line...

I told someone the other day that I wasn't a "needy" person and then the next day I had MAJOR stress happen and I was afraid to call or reach out because I just said I wasn't needy. But I got to thinking about it and is reaching out really needy? I guess my life had been so saturated with "needy" people for so long, I get confused and think I should be strong and not ask for a shoulder to cry on. Well another thought pattern to rearrange in my brain ~ having someone to lean on when they offer, is not "needy" but maybe actually a strength.

Steps...

"We are grateful for fear, but allow ourselves to make a choice from a higher place, from a place of trust. The ironic thing is that once we die to fear, we can live. So living does require that we die, that we die to our fears, our doubts, and our old ways of thinking. We must take that first scary step out with trust that we will either know how to fly or that we will be caught.

You would think as many times in my life as I've taken that first scary step it would become easier. But today it doesn't feel like it. Maybe because each of the different steps is another fear that needs to be conquered. And I can look back on my other experiences and KNOW, that trust brought me through and I either learned how to fly or I was caught.
