Movie...
Tonight I rested and did what my body needed. I eat dinner, put my pajamas on, got ready for bed and watched a movie. I watched "If I Stay" and I really like the way it was done. It could have been a really really sad movie but the focus was on the love and the people that made up their life, not the death. It wasn't overly dramatic or sappy, just a really well-done movie... I enjoyed the rest and entertainment!

Grieving...
"Grief Attacks"
When grieving we can be going along and everything seems to be okay. then out of nowhere grief hits full force. These are not set backs, they are a part of the grieving experience.
Grief... an old friend returns. I'd been wondering what was going on with me the last few weeks. I'd be okay one moment and then feeling sad and crying the next. It's a process of letting go, of leaving behind, of complete unknown. I've know "grief" before and it has come back to visit once again. Now that I know, I can continue to be kinder to myself, to help my children walk through this seemingly dark and scary time with grace and peace. Welcome old friend... we shall walk this path together until we no longer need each other.

A Sad Heart...
Divorce and separation aren't always a "bad" thing, but I always find it saddens my heart just a little when I hear of others going through it. I was listening to a friend last night share her journey with this issue and one of my neighbors (that I am not very close to) but are now going their separate ways. Not sure if it's because I've been there, done that and it strikes a cord with me and I can relate - I don't know. I just know when I encounter it, my heart is sad and always a little surprised that once again it is happening to someone. In someways I don't want to feel any other way. I don't want it to be so expected and normal that it doesn't faze me at all. So for all those I know and those I don't that are going through this situation - I will be thinking of you today.
A friend told me once: that is was better to live for awhile uncomfortable in the truth then comfortable in a lie. I Pick TRUTH...
